This blog is to serve as a way to remember all of the humorous events that happen to my group of friends and myself during our time at Carthage College. While the main purpose of this blog is to help my friend group remember all the good times we will have in the coming years, I am fairly certain that people who do not know my friend group as well as I do will (hopefully) enjoy the stories in this blog.
That being said, I'd like to jump into the first story, which should help show how our friend Sam just doesn't win at life. It all starts when Sam went off to his band rehearsal. He was playing his Tuba (which isn't a real instrument) and several times he got yelled at by the band director for the mistakes his partner was making. Leaving the band room a little depressed, he noticed that it had stopped raining outside, so he had no qualms walking back. The second Sam stepped outside, however, a heavy downpour started again.
As Sam continued on through the rain, he encountered a handicapped man getting out his vehicle and into his wheelchair. Sam, being the misunderstood gentleman, approaches the man and asks the man if he would like assistance getting his keys out of his car. The old man at this point starts swinging his umbrella wildly at Sam, and in a gravelly voice shouting "You ain't getting my keys YOUNG MAN!" At this point, Sam returns to us and tells us of his tale of misfortune. This is why we have #samproblems.
I am greatly looking forward to future blog posts.
